In.Ca. S.r.l.

The In.Ca. S.r.l. company is concerned with the quarries and it is the one which experienced the most radical changes to follow the market in its growth and the legislation in its relevant updating. It started about thirty years ago when it only have a crawler mounted loader, a tired loader and a small crushing system, it grew steadily and now it has become a complex and imposing reality under the technologic point of view for its completeness and the quality of the service offered.

As far as the technology is concerned, besides the acquisition of the latest ground handling machines, the company has planned, in collaboration with the plant manufacturer, some devices to comply with the technical – environmental requirements of the quarry as to get the best product respecting the surrounding environment. Also the electric system is provided with a very advanced technology, same banks of condensers have been fitted, which inserted in the electric circuit, when required, improve the power factor to get the maximum energetic saving which involves environmental benefits.

They have an exceptional flexibility to get fit both to the vein of the rock and to the different requirements of the market.
The quarrying activities is closely linked to the transport one carried out by the Panta Rei S.r.l., a company belonging to the group. The alliance is particularly successful thanks to the complete integration of the two activities which allows punctual and efficient material handling and commercialisation. This characteristic represents a very important aspect and receives great consideration because advantageous for the quality of the service and for the optimisation of the internal organisation.

Particular attention has been paid to problems relevant to the working and surrounding environments respect according to the group philosophy. To this aim all the operations required to pull down the dust have been performed, for example, the feeding of the primary grinding mill is now carried out by means of belt conveyors instead of by motor vehicles.
A basin to wash the tyres of the lorries and an antidust shoot for the formation of stoking heaps have been planned and built.

This company too, like the Valle del Sacco S.r.l., firm taken over in 1998, has pursued a policy aiming to preserve the existing natural equilibrium. The flora has been restored in those areas subjected to the quarrying and the same areas have been devoted to farming.

La flora delle aree sottoposte ad attività estrattiva è stata infatti ripristinata e le stesse aree sono state oggi restituite all’agricoltura

In the second half of the 90s the In.Ca. Inerti Calcarei S.r.l. obtained the product quality certification from the Italferr Sis. T.A.V. S.p.A. required to supply the yards devoted to the construction of the high speed railway network, with material for embankment and aggregate to produce concrete. From 1996 to 1998 more than 1.800.000 cubic metres of materials have been furnished. Thanks to the absorption happened in 1998 the society has obtained the management of a pozzolana quarry and remarkably increased the range of the products offered. The firm got the product quality certification from the Italferr Sis. T.A.V. S.p.A. for the pozzolana quarry too.

In 1999 the In.Ca.Inerti Calcarei S.r.l. took over the feldspar quarry owned by the Furlan Giuseppe S.r.l. so controlling the whole mining sector of the group carrying out a process of rationalisation started with the incorporations. With this new and complete organisational order also the In. Ca. Inerti Calcarei S.r.l. as the other main firms of the group, have consolidated the traditional vocation through the optimisation of the productive processes and the customer’s satisfaction, getting the conformity’s Certification of the business Quality System to UNI EN ISO 9000.
